Root Canal Treatment

It is a process of removal of carious part of tooth and all pathology from crown to root .

Indication for RCT

There are some dental orthodontic indications, including:

• Carious tooth.
• In case of fractured tooth.
• Abutment tooth crown having large pulp chamber.
• Pathology in root region due to an accident.

Contraindication

• Radicular cyst.
• Root fracture.
• CEJ envolvement.
• Mobility in tooth.
• Bifurcation envolvement.

Methods

Removal of carious part from tooth surface.

• Open the pulpul flor and pulp chamber.
• Extirpate the pulp by bar broach.
• Clean the chamber and canal by the help of reamer and files.
• Close the canal by gp points and then finally filled with restorative material.
• It is performed by two ways single sitting and multiple sitting.

• Prevent from food lodgement due to proximal space.
