It is a process of removal of carious part of tooth and all pathology from crown to root .
Indication for RCT
There are some dental orthodontic indications, including:
- Carious tooth.
- In case of fractured tooth.
- Abutment tooth crown having large pulp chamber.
- Pathology in root region due to an accident.
Contraindication
- Radicular cyst.
- Root fracture.
- CEJ envolvement.
- Mobility in tooth.
- Bifurcation envolvement.
Methods
Removal of carious part from tooth surface.
- Open the pulpul flor and pulp chamber.
- Extirpate the pulp by bar broach.
- Clean the chamber and canal by the help of reamer and files.
- Close the canal by gp points and then finally filled with restorative material.
- It is performed by two ways single sitting and multiple sitting.
